Why Does Funny Valentines Appearance Change
Each JoJo part has a different villain, and in the case of Steel Ball Run, it is Funny Valentine. Funny Valentine is the 23rd President of the United States. He was the person who actually organized the Steel Ball Run race. His goal was to get ahold of the Saint's corpse in order to further increase the power of the United States.
Funny Valentine's stand Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap, or simply D4C, is an extremely powerful stand. It has the ability to move through dimensions. The only prerequisite is that Valentine needs to be caught between two things, which is not a difficult condition to achieve. His extraordinary stand makes him a dangerous opponent and not many people can defeat him in a fight.
10 CAN BEAT: JOHNNY JOESTAR
We start off with the most obvious choice to beat Valentine. Johnny Joestar had a troubled life and for a long time, he believed that he would have to remain in a wheelchair. But, his meeting with Gyro changed everything. Johnny got his own stand, Tusk, which has four stages. The final stage, Tusk Act 4, is the most powerful form of Tusk. While in this form, Johnny utilizes the Golden Spin and thus, each fingernail he shoots has infinite energy.
9 CAN'T BEAT: RISOTTO NERO
Bruno and co. weren't the only ones after Diavolo, Risotto and the rest of the Assassin Squad were chasing him as well. Risotto is the leader of the Assassin Squad. Only Risotto actually met Diavolo, who was in the form of Doppio– albeit Risotto was unaware of this. His stand, Metallica, allowed him to turn invisible. It can also manipulate the iron present inside the blood of a person which can lead to a painful death. Risotto's element of surprise is his main weapon, but since Funny Valentine can switch out his damaged bodies, he would have countless opportunities to get rid of Risotto Nero.
8 CAN BEAT: JOTARO KUJO
Mr. One-liner is next on the list. He is the main protagonist of Stardust Crusaders. His stand, Star Platinum, is easily among the strongest stands in the series. The stand has great reflexes and insane power.
Throughout part 3, Jotaro barely has to exert himself. Star Platinum can also stop time for a few seconds. He can easily stop time while fighting Valentine and kill him.
7 CAN'T BEAT: KOICHI
Koichi was born without any stand, but thanks to Keicho Nijimura, he got his own stand egg. His stand is one of the few stands to have several stages. Echoes Act 3 is the strongest stage of the stand. When the stand punches anything, it greatly increases the weight of the object. If Koichi moves more than 5 meters from the target, the stand's ability will be canceled.
6 CAN BEAT: GIORNO GIOVANNA
Giorno Giovanna became the boss of Passione after killing Diavolo. He is very smart and he proved it on several occasions. Giorno's stand, Gold Experience Requiem, is possibly the strongest stand in the series. It can reverse any action that could potentially harm Giorno. The stand moves on its accord, so Giorno doesn't even need to be on his guard. This would be a rather interesting fight, but Funny Valentine cannot harm Giorno in any way while Giorno is not restricted in the same manner.
5 CAN'T BEAT: POCOLOCO
A lot of fans were left disappointed with Pocoloco in Steel Ball Run and quite rightly so. At one point, it seemed that he would have some major role to play in the series, but that couldn't be further from the truth.
Pocoloco's Hey Ya! has no combat ability. It is basically an indefatigable cheerleader that continuously encourages Pocoloco. Pocoloco would be decimated by Funny Valentine.
4 CAN BEAT: DIO
DIO is the main antagonist of two parts, namelyPhantom Blood and Stardust Crusaders. He awakened his stand, The World, in part 3. DIO's stand is superior to Valentine's in terms of speed and strength. Again, Valentine could save himself by changing the damaged body, but he cannot move when time has been stopped, so this would be an easy win for DIO.
3 CAN'T BEAT: JOSUKE HIGASHIKATA
Josuke is like any other highschooler except that he has a very strong stand and he defeated a serial killer. He is the son of Joseph but he doesn't seem to have inherited his wit. Josuke possesses Crazy Diamond, which is a powerful stand. He can alter the morphology of other objects and humans, but he cannot heal himself at all. All Funny Valentine has to do is chip away at Josuke's health until he finally collapses.
2 CAN BEAT: ENRICO PUCCI
Pucci is the main villain of Stone Ocean. With the help of Jotaro's memory, Pucci managed to evolve his stand. The final form of Pucci's stand was Made in Heaven. The stand is capable of accelerating time, which almost makes Jotaro's ability to stop time useless. Pucci managed to beat the combined efforts of Ermes, Anasui, Jolyne, and Jotaro. He would have no trouble whatsoever dealing with Funny Valentine.
1 CAN'T BEAT: OKUYASU
Okuyasu is armed with one of the most lethal stands in JoJo. His stand is known as The Hand. It is capable of erasing anything from existence. The potential of the stand is quite frightening, but then you realize that Okuyasu is the wielder and breathe a sigh of relief. Okuyasu could potentially be the strongest character in the series, but he is a bit slow as pointed out by his elder brother and Josuke.
