Mudrika Labels commissions the new Lombardi Synchroline 430

Mudrika operates from a land-of-the-art manufacturing facility in the northern Bombay suburb of Vasai. The plant was inaugurated in January 2015 to consolidate all the company's operations under one roof.
"With all the 12 presses now fully operational, in fiscal year 2019-2020, Mudrika's total installed capacity will rise to 15 lakh foursquare meters per calendar month from 11 lakh square meters per month in fiscal year 2018-2019," Desai shares.
Of the 12 characterization presses, 7 are Gallus characterization presses, including the new Labelmaster, four Kopack presses and i Lombardi.
The Lombardi 430 is an all-UV press and can handle rolls up to 450 mm and has a impress width of 430 mm. The Lombardi Synchroline 430 press is also equipped with a hologram unit of measurement. Other features include delam relam, turnbar, cold foil, two dice-cutting units, sheeter and conveyor, spider web cleaner, corona treatment, a Lombardi patented Air Blade System (ABS), and a servo motor on each unit. The press can print at a maximum speed of 220 meters per minute on substrates such as papers, agglutinative papers and extensible films, amid others.
The Gallus Labelmaster Plus has a maximum speed of 200 meters per infinitesimal and it can impress on a variety of substrates such as papers, self-adhesive materials, cardboards, monofoil label materials and tube laminates. The printing is installed with UV curing systems.
Time to come plans
The Vasai plant, where the 12 presses are presently housed, now has no more room for another press. So, co-ordinate to Desai, the company has bought land in Vasai, near the present manufactory, where a new constitute will come in the adjacent few years.
Mudrika is as well planning to start making flexo plates in-business firm and will buy relevant equipment such as an imager in the coming months, Desai says.
